Celebrating Kati Moran and "First Saturday"

On Saturday June 5th 2010 FAWN invited members to join in remembering
Kati Moran by embracing an evening of the great culture that New York City has to offer
– to be enjoyed as Kati would have.

The evening was sponsored by Kati Moran Memorial Fund!

Members took a stroll through the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and enjoyed Rose Garden in full bloom plus visited Japanese Hill and Pond Garden!
We then gathered at Abigail's for a reception remembering Kati Moran, a Board Member and a Friend.
First Saturdays at the Brooklyn Museum of Art are a hugely popular community event – drawings thousands of New Yorkers for its free programs including live music, dancing, screenings, gallery talks, family activities and of course the art galleries.
FAWN visited the museum’s newest exhibition American High Style – Fashioning a National Collection – a selection of costumes and other fashion-related material from their long-stored-away collection
